J'ai donc acheté le bouquin sur Kindle. Je ne suis pas encore assez avancée dedans pour savoir si j'aime vraiment mais le style est plaisant, mieux que ce que j'attendais. Et surtout j'ai écouté sa nouvelle chanson.
I must confess that during Eurovision 2014, I was seeing Conchita Wurst as pure comedy. Maybe some insensivity on my part there. But I saw her in Laurent Ruquier's show On N'Est Pas Couché and I changed my mind, maybe because it was her first serious interview I saw. (vidéo in french, unfortunately). I now feel all the artist's sensitivity and intelligence I failed to detect in the big international fair of camp that's Eurovision. And I love how she reacted against the austrian audience when they booed Russia. It was the height of fair-play.
So I bought the book on Kindle. Not too far into it to say if I really like it but it's pleasant enough to read and better than expected. And above all I listened to the song.
(french intervievew, sorry)
Sometimes you just gotta leap – yeah
Jump out and just feel the breeze – yeah
You're stronger than you believe you are
You are!
Sometimes it's just gonna hurt – yeah
But you gonna live and learn – yeah
You're stronger than you believe you are
You are unstoppable!
Of course, at first listening it's about a potential lovestory one shouldn't let go because of fear. But it goes real beyond that, otherwise I wouldn't be interested in it. It's really my feel strong song of the moment, replacing Emilie Autumn's One Foot In Front Of The Other.
