Revive a vintage! - Faire revivre le vintage!

Le blog Roving Crafters propose un concours intéressant : il s'agit de prendre un patron, une photo...d'avant 1975 et de le recréer. J'ai quelques idées. Les patrons ne m'intéressent que peu (je suis des patrons, bien sûr, mais le plaisir de se coltiner à ta matière première et lui faire faire ce que *toi*, tu décides, c'est le summum), alors je me suis concentrée sur des photos. J'ai demandé à l'organisatrice sur Ravelry, on peut utiliser un modèle en tissu et le traduire en tricot et crochet. Voici ma petite sélection. Lequel choisiriez-vous? Je dois me décider vite, car si je fais un projet ambitieux, j'aurais besoin du maximum de temps.

The Roving Crafters blog currently has an interesting contest : take a pre-1975 pattern or pic and recreate it. I have some potential ideas that alll are nagging me. Following a pattern isn't my favourite thing (I follow patterns, of course, but the fight with fiber to make it do whatever *I* want it to do gets me high every time), so I focused on inspirational pics. I asked the organiser on Ravelry : you can choose a woven cloth object and recreate it in crochet or knitting. So here is my little selection. What would you choose? I must decide quickly as, if I choose an ambitious project, I need all the time I can get.

Let's Make Love; I know some persons already made patterns, but I want to make an aran crochet inspired project. Je sais que plusieurs personnes ont déjà sorti des patrons inspirés, mais moi je voudrais faire une adptation en crochet aran.

 This sweet little heart neckline... J'adore le décolleté en coeur.



 Bonnie & Clyde. I'd want to make a crochet adaptation, as I think Eunny Jang already made a knitting pattern. Ici encore j'ai en tête une adaptation au crochet, vu que je crois me souvenir qu'Eunny Jang a créé un patron de tricot.

 I'd want to make an empire-waist top. Je voudrais faire un petit haut taille empire.


This one is a bracelet from Musée Galliera. I'd want to recreate it in crochet, as I'm not good enough at embroidery. Bracelet du Musée Galliera. Je voudrais le refaire en crochet, car je ne suis pas assez douée en broderie.

    I can totally understand wanting to make any and all of these, they're all gorgeous, but which of them would you want to wear? For me that would narrow it down to "Let's Make Love" or the beaded mesh cloche, but you've got your own body type to work with.

      Thanks :) Sound advice. I think it might rule out the empire top. But I must say that my body type is rotund, so the advice I got about flattering clothes is quite contradictory, the only consistency being people who would like me to wear tents. So I generally choose to wear whatever I please, because no matter what, there will always be someone who thinks what I am wearing is unflattering and offensive for the eye.
